By car
You can reach Regensburg by car via the A3 and A 93 motorways.
Motorway A3: Frankfurt - Nuremberg - Regensburg - Passau - Vienna
- If you are travelling on the A3 motorway, take the "Universit?t / Klinikum" exit.
- Then follow the signs to "Universit?t".
- You can reach the underground car park via "Albertus-Magnus-Stra?e". The entrance to the car park is on the left-hand side of the road (watch out for oncoming traffic!).
- You can reach the university car park via the street "Am Biopark" in the south of the campus.
A 93 motorway: Munich - Regensburg - Hof - Dresden
- If you are travelling on the A93, take the exit "Regensburg - Kumpfmühl".
- At the traffic lights, continue straight on through "Ludwig-Thoma-Stra?e" and follow the road for 900 metres.
- At the second set of traffic lights, turn right into "Universit?tsstra?e".
- You will reach the underground car park by turning left into "Albertus-Magnus-Stra?e". The entrance is on the right-hand side of the road.
- If you would like to park your car in one of our multi-storey car parks, follow Universit?tsstra?e until you can turn left into "Am Biopark".
Parking
The multi-storey car parks in the south of the campus are open all day. If you use the multi-storey car parks, you can reach the computer centre in five to ten minutes on foot:
If you use the underground car park, turn right immediately after entering the car park and then left until you reach the end of the car park. It is best to park at the exit located there, if possible. There you will find the direct exit to the computer centre (follow the signs).
You leave the underground car park via the library building and enter the campus directly on the lake. The entrance to the computer centre is located opposite the library building (red arrow).

Opening hours of the underground car park:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 00:30 am
- Saturday from 06:30 to 17:00
By public transport
Leave the main railway station
- either in the direction of the "Arcaden" shopping centre. The passageway runs to the left between the station and the Arcaden building. This will take you directly to the "HBF Süd/Arcaden" stop
- or in the direction of the old town centre and go to the Albertstra?e bus stop.
In both cases, bus lines 6, 11, C1 and C6 will take you to the university.
Arriving at our computer centre ...
The best way for visitors to reach our computer centre is via the main entrance on the University of Regensburg campus.
In the foyer on the ground floor of the Computer Centre there is an intercom system on a grey pillar where you can register via our secretary's office. Our staff at the Service Desk will also be happy to help you!

By car or lorry to the supplier entrance
- Take the "Universit?t / Klinikum" exit on the A3 motorway.
- Follow the signs in the direction of Universit?t or Zentrum.
- At the traffic lights at the crossroads Galgenbergstra?e, Johann-H?sl-Stra?e, Am Biopark (formerly Josef-Engert-Stra?e) turn left into the street "Am Biopark".
- Take the first turning on the right towards Biopark.
- Drive to the end of the road and then turn left into the car park at the computer centre.
- From the car park, the easiest way to reach the supplier entrance to the computer centre is outlined in blue on the map.
- When you are in front of the door, there is an intercom on the left where you have to sign in.
