TYPO3 CMS
Our centralised content management system TYPO3 CMS is available to all university institutions. With TYPO3 CMS you can create your institution's website in the corporate design of the University of Regensburg without any knowledge of web technologies.
Customised websites
We provide you with two different web servers for customised web offerings. The user regulations for the web server services at the University of Regensburg (opens in a new window). (This PDF is not accessible) apply to this offer.
Please note that we are unfortunately unable to support you with the technical implementation. Due to the long-term resources required here, we recommend using our TYPO3 CMS wherever possible.

Homepage server
All members of the university have the opportunity to create a personal homepage. You can apply by sending a ticket to servicedesk(at)ur.de (opens your email program) with the subject "New homepage".
Personal homepages are stored on the central homepages server homepages.uni-regensburg.de.
Web hosting server
Since October 2024, another web hosting server has been available for internal websites.
The web hosting server SITE.app.uni-regensburg.de offers space for official websites of UR institutions, as long as they cannot be accommodated in the university's TYPO3 CMS.
You can also receive web space for an external domain on request.
