Equal Opportunities

Gender equality is a central guiding principle at the University of Regensburg and is applied in all areas of the Faculty of Economics. The faculty actively promotes equal opportunities and an open, respectful, and non-discriminatory study and work environment.

In doing so, the faculty is guided by the overarching equality goals of the UR, as enshrined in the constitution and the Equality concept for research and teaching for the years 2023-2027 (external link, opens in a new window), among other things. The basis for this is provided by both the Bayerische Hochschulinnovationsgesetz ( (external link, opens in a new window)Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (BayHIG)) and the UR's mission statement, which formulates actual equality and the compatibility of family, studies, research, and career as clear objectives.
