Digitalisation
Digitalisation
Digitalisation refers to the process of converting analogue information into digital formats and the integration of digital technologies into all areas of society. The digital transformation has a profound impact on many economic processes and the economy as a whole. Analysing the effects and developing new methods for shaping digitalisation responsibly are a central focus of research and teaching at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Real Estate.
Digitalisation in the focus of teaching
In the current range of courses offered by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Real Estate, students will find different perspectives on the field of digital transformation. Digitalisation and its underlying technologies and their management are a central component of the cross-faculty management information systems and digital business courses, which are offered jointly with the Faculty of Informatics and Data Science.
