On Tuesday, 27 May 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Maximilian V?lkl from DACHSER SE Logistics Centre Regensburg as a guest in the "Logistics" lecture. We were delighted to welcome him and would like to thank him for his exciting and informative lecture.

His lecture focussed on the topic of general cargo logistics - a central component of modern transport and supply chains. Mr V?lkl not only explained the basic organisation and structure of this form of logistics, but also discussed strategic success factors that determine efficiency and profitability in the freight forwarding business.

The direct practical relevance of his presentation was particularly valuable. The vivid presentation and real-life insights into the daily work at DACHSER SE enabled the students to better categorise the theoretical concepts previously discussed and link them to the reality of an internationally operating logistics company.

The event was rounded off with a Q&A session, in which the students had the opportunity to ask individual questions and enter into dialogue with Mr V?lkl. This not only clarified open points, but also provided new perspectives - a real added value.
