On Tuesday, 1 July 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Till Herberg, Global Head of Process, Data & Digitalisation, from DSV Road as a guest in the "Logistics" lecture. We would like to thank him for his exciting, practical and extremely informative presentation.

His presentation centred on the topic of "Road Network - Finding Balance, Managing Growth, Going Digital". Mr Herberg vividly explained the components that make up a modern logistics network and the challenges that arise for freight forwarding companies when planning and managing such networks. He not only addressed the structure of a road network, but also key challenges such as capacity management, volume growth and increasing digitalisation - and how they can be met with intelligent solutions.

The comprehensive insight into practice was particularly valuable. The wealth of background information and illustrative examples from the everyday life of an international logistics service provider enabled the students to link theoretical concepts from the lecture directly with practical implementation.

The event was rounded off with a Q&A session in which students were able to put their questions directly to Mr Herberg. The lively participation and lively discussion showed how much interest there was in the topics covered - a real added value for everyone involved.
