Study objective
In line with the broad range of courses offered by the IREBSInstitute of Real Estate Economics, the Chair aims to achieve a clear focus. The aim is to provide graduates with a sound methodological education that is geared towards the requirements of property specialists for companies in the financial sector.
One focus of the Chair of Property Finance in research and teaching is the characteristics of property as an asset class. In addition to direct investments, this includes in particular indirect investments via open-ended property funds or property stock corporations or REITs. Another focus is on the financing of real estate investments and their securitisation
