Important for a successful enrolment:
Enrolment must be applied for online via the campus portal of the University of Regensburg, providing data in accordance with Art. 87 Para. 2 BayHIG (external link, opens in a new window). You can find out which data and documents you need to submit and by which deadlines in our information sheet on enrolment (opens in a new window). (This PDF is not accessible) (PDF document).
If your documents are complete and you fulfil the requirements for enrolment, you will be enrolled as a student. After enrolment, you can retrieve your access data in the campus portal (external link, opens in a new window). You will receive the UR card by post to the address you have provided.
Please note the following points for successful enrolment:
- During the enrolment deadlines (PDF document), the documents required for enrolment must be uploaded online in the campus portal. If documents are missing, enrolment is unfortunately not possible.
- Your application can only be processed if you have only applied for enrolment for one degree programme. If you have two applications with the status "Enrolment applied for", please withdraw one enrolment application so that your application can be processed.
- Please start your enrolment as early as possible. It can take two to three weeks to process applications. This period will be extended if your documents are incomplete. If you only submit your documents towards the end of the enrolment period, we cannot guarantee that enrolment will be completed by the start of the semester (1 April for the summer semester or 1 October for the winter semester).
- Unfortunately, you cannot call up or enquire about the current processing status of your application.
Enrolment for the doctoral programme
After successfully completing a Master's degree or state examination, you are generally eligible for a doctoral programme. In order to enrol for this, you will need a Certificate for doctoral studies (opens in a new window). (This PDF is not accessible) (PDF document). If you would like to do a doctorate at one of the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, you will need the faculty's letter of admission instead of this certificate.
