Prof Veer studied technology and management-oriented business administration at the Technical University of Munich (Diplom-Kauffrau) with a stay abroad at the Bordeaux ?cole de Management. She completed her doctorate in economics (Dr rer. oec.), specialising in innovation economics, at the Technical University of Berlin under Prof. Dr Knut Blind. After her doctorate, Prof Veer worked as a post-doctoral researcher at ESADE Business School in Barcelona from 2013-2015. in 2015, she was appointed Junior Professor of Strategy and Corporate Management at the University of Tübingen. Since 2022, she has also been Academic Director of the Startup Centre at the University of Tübingen and has held research positions at the Kellogg School of Management, Boston University and Copenhagen Business School, among others. Prof Veer currently holds the Chair of Innovation and Technology Management at the University of Regensburg. In addition to her academic career, Prof Veer has practical experience as a founder and managing director at the interface of sustainability and digital transformation.
