As some participants come with a background in nonarchimedean geometry while others come with a background in tropical geometry, there will be introductory lectures on Monday. They are supposed to provide a common background for all participants.
The introductory lectures will be held by:
- Sara Lamboglia: Introduction to tropical geometry
- Enrica Mazzon: Introduction to non-archimedean geometry
- Philipp Jell: Connection between non-archimedean and tropical geometry.
From Tuesday till Friday, some of the participants will present their own work in talks.
