This chair deals with central questions of the investigation, development and application of AI for IT security and how techniques and methods can contribute to greater transparency of AI applications. In addition, technical infrastructures that can be used to analyze and simulate cyberattacks are investigated and how future AI-based simulations can be set up efficiently. Another focus is the safety and automation of production systems and how these systems can be made more efficient, safer and smarter with AI. Important questions are how secure automation can be realized in the future with these continuously changing, new technologies.
