Am 1. Dezember 2004 übernahm Susanne Leist den Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insbesondere Business Engineering, an der Universit?t in Regensburg. Von Oktober 2003 bis November 2004 vertrat sie die C-4 Professur für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Wirtschaftsinformatik, Finanz- und Bankwirtschaft, an der Europa-Universit?t Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. Die Venia legendi für das Fach Betriebswirtschaftslehre insbesondere Wirtschaftsinformatik erhielt sie im Sommer 2004 von der Universit?t St. Gallen, an der sie von 1997 bis M?rz 2004 als Projektleiterin und Nachwuchsdozentin arbeitete. Sie studierte und promovierte an der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universit?t in Frankfurt am Main.
Neben ?ffentlich gef?rderten Forschungsprojekten (z. B. ESF, BMBf) pflegt sie umfangreiche Industriekooperationen und leitet zahlreiche anwendungsorientierte Forschungsprojekte (z. B. mit der Alphabet Fuhrparkmanagement, BMW Bank, DAB Bank, EON Bayern, EON Service Plus, Maschinenfabrik Rheinhausen).
Susanne Leist ist Mitglied im Editorial Board der Zeitschriften ?Business & Information Systems Engineering“ (BISE) im Derpartment Enterprise Modeling and Enterprise IS, ?Electronic Markets“ (EM), ?BIT Banking and Information Technology“ und dem Forschungsmagazin der Universit?t Regensburg ?Blick in die Wissenschaft” sowie Mitglied des Leitungsgremiums der Fachgruppe "Informationssysteme in der Finanzwirtschaft" der Gesellschaft für Informatik. Sie arbeitet als Track Chair, Associate Editor und Gutachterin in verschiedenen internationalen Komitees.
