Requirements
- Attendance of a Master's course with 6 ETCS at the Chair of Prof. Helm, which must be graded 2.7 or better
If offered, simultaneous or prior participation in the "Colloquium" or, if not offered, a successful Master's seminar at a business administration chair specialising in Marketing Management & Innovation (minimum grade 2.7) PO 2021, or specialising in Marketing (minimum grade 2.7) PO 2015.
Procedure- Registration for the Master's thesis at the Examination Office by the potential Master's student. Master's student (form available on the homepage of the Examination Office)
- You can view a list of current topics for Master's theses at secretariat. Please make an appointment to view the list by sending an email to sigm(at)ur.de.
The potential Master's candidate selects two topics from the list and reports them to the secretary's office so that the topics can be blocked for other interested parties until a decision is made. - The chair reserves the right to propose only one topic.
- Reflection period of 14 days (rough familiarisation with the two selected topics)
- Within the reflection period: Rough explanation of the topic by the potential supervisor. Supervisor from the chair
- After the reflection period: Announcement of the final choice of topic to the chair and, if necessary, detailed consultation with the supervisor
- Registration of the Master's thesis at the examination office by the chair (processing time: 180 days)

Notes
- Proof of fulfilment of the requirements (e.g. transcript of records) must be submitted to the secretariat on the day of the provisional choice of topic (see procedure under point 2).
- Fulfilment of the Requirements does not imply the sole entitlement to write the Master's thesis at the Chair of Prof. Helm: Among other things, sufficient supervision capacity must be available at the chair.
